1. Scuba Diving in Phuket
Diving in Phuket and liveaboards: The dive sites in the Andaman Sea are considered to be among the best scuba destinations in the world. These sites have good visibility and crystal clear water, spectacular reefs and rock formations, and a colourful selection of marine life
Diving day trips from Phuket to Phi Phi Island and the Racha Islands operate throughout the year. Both beginners and experienced divers will appreciate the underwater scenery at Phi Phi, the fascinating King Cruiser wreck close to Anemone Reef, and the exciting diving at Shark Point (named after the Leopard sharks living on the sandy bottom).
For world-class scuba diving and the really big fish, go for a liveaboard dive cruise to the Similan and Surin Islands in the Andaman Sea.

2. Snorlerling
The tropical waters of the Andaman Sea are ideal for snorkelling. The water is clear, calm, balmy and bursting with good marine life. The water temperature is quite warm at approx. 28 Celsius. The best time of year for snorkeling is November to April. But beware of strong undercurrents from May to October.

3. Spa and Massage
The concept of spa is associated with the ancient traditions of natural healing through herbal baths, massage, meditation, and the continued pursuit of inner and outer beauty.
Most major hotels offer traditional Thai massage as part of their health and fitness services, as do natural healing and spa centres where herbal steam bath and sauna treatments are derived from holistic therapies practiced for centuries.

4. Phuket Golf
Phuket has eight excellent golf courses, all of which have been designed to take full advantage of the island's tropical climate and unique topography. Many visitors come solely to play golf around the beautiful landscaped courses.
Standards are high, and the holes are challenging enough to stretch new and experienced players alike.
Some of the courses have been used for international competitions and world championships.
While other destinations in Thailand have good courses, only in Phuket is it possible to enjoy first-rate golf, plus sun-drenched beaches and coral-reef diving, all close to fine cuisine and a varied nightlife.

5 Flying Hanuman
Flying Hanuman in Kathu is just the right place for you if you're the type of person who loves to zip through the sky 40 metres above a jungle. Eco-friendly and well executed, Flying Hanuman explores the jungle in a decidedly aerial way.
The place is very well designed, with artistic touches here and there, immaculate toilets and a restaurant near the lobby.
Don't forget to watch the safety-and-information DVD on a large flat screen TV in a bamboo-and-thatch hut.

6. Thai Boxing ( Muay Thai.)
The martial art of Muay Thai is one of the most popular spectator sports in Thailand.

For tourists in the Patong Beach area, there are nightly displays of Thai Boxing in specially built stadiums on Soi Sai Namyen. A Thai boxing match is worth attending for the pure spectacle and the wild musical accompaniment, the ceremonial beginning of each match, and the frenzied betting around the stadium.
Phuket has a lot of training camps open to all ages

7. Surfing
Phuket's West Coast is beginning to gain a reputation as a surf destination. It is not world class but is the best place for surfing in Thailand.
The surfing season in Phuket is from April to November, which corresponds to the low season. The waves are around three metres maximum height, and there are a few good spots at designated beaches. In Patong the best place is the northern end of the beach and the Kalim area.

8. Mini Golf
Dino Park is a fun and funky mini-golf course and restaurant located between Karon and Kata beaches.
The 18-hole course is themed on a Jurrasic Park setting of dinosaurs and has many large and life-like cement dino statues, along with dense forestry and an erupting volcano as well as a Flintstone's themed restaurant.
